3D-Printing
The facility FORTUS 360mc produces physical models using the patented Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) process. Based on 3D-CAD-data which were prepared accordingly after transformation to the STL format by the FORTUS software Insight. The composition of the models is made by fusing the thermoplastic which is in a solid initial condition and subsequently by applying it through a nozzle to the construction platform at which the material harden immediately and combines by thermal fusing.
